VeriMark Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 4, 2026
VeriMark is an Android app for reviewing local video and audio recordings, marking important moments, organizing review projects and exporting reports. This policy explains how VeriMark handles information.
1. Media and project data
VeriMark is designed for local, on-device review. Your selected recordings, project information and markers are processed and stored on the device. The core review workflow does not require uploading recordings or project data to a cloud service.
2. Information VeriMark does not collect for the review workflow
VeriMark does not operate its own server backend for your recordings or projects. The app does not need an account to review local media, and it does not use advertising or analytics as part of the review workflow.
3. Google Play purchases
When you choose a Pro plan, the purchase is processed by Google Play using Google Play Billing. VeriMark receives the purchase/entitlement result needed to unlock Pro features. Payment details are handled by Google Play rather than by VeriMark.
4. Files and permissions
VeriMark uses Android's system file picker so you can choose the recordings and project files you want the app to open. Access is limited to files you explicitly select.
5. Portable project files
A .verimark package can contain project metadata, markers and the associated recording. When you share one, the file is transferred using the Android sharing mechanism you choose. VeriMark does not operate the transfer service.
6. Retention and deletion
Your local project data remains on the device until you remove it or uninstall the app. Shared copies of a .verimark file are controlled by the locations and apps you choose to use for sharing.
7. Children's privacy
VeriMark is a general productivity and media-review utility and is not directed at children.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this location with a new effective date.
9. Contact
For questions about this policy, use the VeriMark project repository or the contact method published in the app's store listing.
